I have a friend who works with a boxer rescue group. Her recommendations for a kennel are Dogs Unleashed in Keller; Tooth Acres in Frisco, Downtown Dogs in Dallas and Camp Bow Wow-multiple locations.
Hope those help.
Hello there,
We have a 1 1/2 year old boxer and we're in need of reputible boarding for him in Jan. We've had a bad experience with a recommended kennel and prefer in home care if available. We'd like to know if there is anyone out there who watches pets in their own home. While I've heard great things about sitters coming into the home, we prefer a situation where he'll have more interaction. I'm in McKinney.
Please let me know if you know anything.
Thank you,
A.

If you decide to go another route, there is a great place near you we just used called Tru Luv Kennels. Lynne was great and she even sent us pictures of our puppy while on vacation.
They have tons of yard space where they get lots of playtime, it's clean and she lives on site
She works with the schedule your dog is currently on too!
It's probably 15 minutes from McKinney
We were very pleased.
Try Pets Are Inn ~ they place your dog in a private home. My dear friend used to own one of the franchises. good luck. If you are like me you worry over your pup!
I don't know where you live, but if you're in the Arlington, Mansfield, Kennedale area, I recommend Your Pet's Choice. They watched my two boxers in my home before. They'll also pick up your mail, change lights so it looks like you're home and water plants if you'd like. Phone is ###-###-####. www.yourpetschoice.com.

I have a friend that watches dogs in her home. She lives off 380 in one of the communities outside of Denton. If you are interested, PM me with your contact info and I will pass it on to her.
Hi A.. I have used two GREAT kennels fro our very large and active lab. They are both a little out of the way, but have a lot of room for the dogs to move around in. The large dogs really need larger runs and not small crate kennels. Both of these facilities also offer outdoor play time. Willow Run Kennels is in DeSoto and Mesquite Flats Kennels are in Crowley. I mainly use Willow Run now. It is a tad bit closer to me and is usually on my way out of town. They are awesome! It's worth the hour long round trip to take our lab, as I know he will be taken care of. He jumps out of the car and runs in. WHen he gets home, he is so tired, he lays around for several days. It's constant play for him.
Good luck!
A teacher at my son's preschool watches dogs in her home. She watched my boxer for a few days this September, and we didn't have problems. She lives off of McKinney Ranch between Hardin and Lake Forest. I don't have her number on me at the moment, but I can get it for you if you want it.
