Seeking Best Weight Loss Program for Men

My husband needs to shed 30-40 pounds. Like a lot of people, he has really poor eating habits, eats on the go a lot of the time, loves carbs and hates most veggies. He gets moderate exercise, but intends to kick it up a notch after the holidays...any program suggestions?

My husband has been using www.vfl.com for the past 3 months and has lost over 25 lbs. The site will give you meal plans & recipes, allows you to log your weight & body measurements to keep track of your progress, and allows you to log your meals (whether they are their suggestions or your own meals)... that is the most fantastic part I think because it shows you exactly what you are putting into your body... fat, protein, sodium, etc. It has completely changed his lifestyle for the better and he is totally into it!

Hello NB...this is the easiest plan you will ever hear about and this will help your hubby and even you if you'd like to get started.

First of all he needs to eat more. Yes more! BUT in smaller portions. Men normally need at least 2K calories a day and he is probably taking in more. So...break it up. He can eat carbs...just the good ones but make sure with every carb eat a protien and make each meal at least 300-350 calories each (For women 250-300)(Good carb examples are Whole wheat pastas, fruits, veggies). Eat about 5-6 times a day to keep the metabolism going througout the day and your body will begin to burn that energy/fat. Drink about 10-15 glasses of water or about 7-10 bottles of waters whichever is easier...and he can even have crystal lite...alot of flavors with No real sugar. Sugar in your foods and drinks is one of the biggest reasons why so many people are over weight...No sodas!

Ok...every 3-4 hrs...eat a meal and i guarantee without exercise he will shed at least 15-20. With exercise I can guarantee he will burn that body fat and weight off within at least 3 ms. If you want any more tips...email me.

If he doesn't have discipline eating then maybe a personal trainer could help. My hubby is one and he has helped a lot of people. I know for myself it's all about diet and exercise for the long term. There are never quick fixes and I had to learn that after having my girls. I am slowly losing weight with diet alone b/c I can't fit in the training yet. You may have to start packing lunches and snacks for him and make sure you do buy the stuff he likes. And if the family gets on board as well. My three year old eats apples, carrots, peaches and yogurt for snacks because that's what I have to eat. It took awhile but now she loves it.
