Go to once upon a child its in St Peters, unless they have one in your area somewhere, not sure exactly where you are in St Louis, they have alot second hand stuff and great stuff also, looks new. It located over near the Mid Rivers Mall
I also recommend checking out Craig's List at: http://stlouis.craigslist.org/ You'll have to check it daily and call or email immediately if you see something because they tend to go quick. You might also try searching the garage sale announcements on Craig's List and also in the paper. Spring is coming and along with it will be tons and tons of garage sales. If you can wait that long, you could try the Baby Mania Sale at Mehlville High School on May 6th. They always have lots of that kind of stuff... but once again, you'll have to get there early and have cash in hand!

You could go to www.ouac.com (Once Upon A Child) to see which store is in your area. They sell furniture in great condition as well as clothes, toys, etc.
Also, you could go to www.craigslist.com and search for your needs in your area.
I have personally purchased from both and have gotten some great treasures at wonderful prices.
