I take my son to A Child's Garden, it's a center in Gladstone. I paid $140/week and now it's $120/week since he is 2. I absolutely love it and I am so sad to be leaving because we are moving to Blue Springs. I hope this helps.
Baby isn't due until June, but I am starting to explore options for daycare and would like to know what average prices are in the northland. We have potential family members that may watch the baby, but they are not confirmed yet. Still, we will pay them something, hopefully less than a professional daycare. Just wanted to see what is out there. Thanks, Meg

M.,
There is a really huge price diffrenced between in home daycare and daycare centers. In the past I paid an inhome sitter $125 a week. Centers I have paid as much as $170 a week for an infant under the age of 2. Hope this helps!
Hey, I just have to tell you that I'm in serious baby withdrawl! LOL. My daycare babies grew up on me and by the end of summer everyone will be turning 3 or is already over that. I have one going to school in the fall. There are 2 of us in the house. We are clean, incredibly interested in educating the children AND providing them with fun and a laid back NON-SCHEDULED environment. I believe in letting preschoolers be kids and have fun and yet all my kids go to school knowing how to read basic short words.
We charge 120 per week and I've been in business 21 years.

Hi M.,
Congrats! My son has been going to LaPetite on N Oak and 152. They are incredible! My son is 3 and he loves it there. They charge 208 for infants and then it goes down. They provide snacks adn breakfast and lunch. They have an acutal curriculum in every class which my son excels at. They are structured but they do alot with the kids.
