I am seeking connection with other mothers who like attachment-parenting in my local community of Redondo Beach or close by. I also love Waldorf and NVC. I have a 4 year old but I would love to meet parents of all ages.

For the person who asked about Attachment Parenting, it's a style of parenting that goes more by instinct than by "experts" who often tell you to go against those mothering "gut feelings" you have.
Dr. Sears has a great deal of good info, but basically AP parents typically support one or more of the following: breastfeeding, baby wearing, co-sleeping, gentle discipline, no circumcision, delayed/no vaccination, elimination communication, cloth diapering, etc.

I am in Hermosa Beach and have been looking for other local moms who like attachment-parenting. I also belong to the mentioned yahoo group. Unfortunately, many of the playdates I've seen have been a bit of a drive. I would love to start something up closer to the beach or at some of the great parks we've got around here. Let me know what you find out.
