I would recommend trying Sam's Club. I bought two 8x10's there about 5 years ago and they still look like new even after several cleanings with a steam cleaner. They still carry the same brand I bought and they're only $299.
Hello,
I am needing to replace a 8x10 rug in our living room. Was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on where to buy one? I went to Home Depot Expo, and a speciality rug store in Dallas. I want to spend under $600 if possible since I have little kids. Seems like a lot of places don't carry rugs over 5x8.
Thanks in advance!
Thanks for all the great advice! I never thought of most places you mentioned!
Thanks again!

You can try Ikea...some of their stuff is very modern, but they also have more traditional options. Prices are fantastic.
Tuesday Morning down on Inwood near the Galleria has had some great rugs.
I have heard my ads for The Dump...sounds like they carry nice rugs at good prices too.
Good luck!
lowe and home depot. you can order them
I got an 8X10 at Costco for around $300. You could also try Sams Club.
If you can find one you like at Pottery Barn you can often find them on EBay for next to nothing. I got a 5X8 rug for about $100 brand new. Great price for potential toddler disasters!
Good luck!

I bought one at Big Lots last year. It was cheap, but looked really nice and has held up pretty well. We just replaced it with a larger one, though, and now that one is in our office. The new one we just got it actually a large piece of carpet that we had bound to look like a rug. It's very plush and we love it. We got a great deal on it, too. But if it's just an 8x10 you're looking for, try out Big Lots. Or maybe that new Dump place--I hear they have great deals on nice rugs--check their website.
I got my rug at Stacy Furniture in Allen at 75 and McDermott. It was reasonably priced.
I've always had really good luck at Lowe's. I would see what they have, and if you can wait - they will periodically have sales. I found that out when saving for an area rug. By the time I was ready to buy it, it was on sale for 1/2 the original cost. They still have the one I bought, so it wasn't a clearance item or anything.
I've always had a lot of luck at Tuesday Morning stores. The rugs are nice quality and won't break the bank. The only thing is I'm not sure if they carry 8 x 10, it's worth a call.
Good luck.

I went to The Dump for the first time specifically to look at rugs. They have some good prices. The Dump is in Irving, off 635 and Olympus (1 exit west of MacArthur).
Hi T.
I have 4 Turkish rugs I am planning to sell, they are normally from $400-$1000. I got them from overseas. I have a couple of red, one green and one beige. If you are interested come take a look and we will talk about the price.
