My name is A. and I am a 27 year old mother of a sweet little 2 1/2 month old boy. Though I had been working as an audiologist prior to my son's birth, I knew I wanted to be able to stay home with him. Finding work at home is hard, but not impossible. There are people that work out of their home, probably in your neighborhood, that need secretarial help. Try advertising yourself in a local paper.

I've been working out of my house for the past 8 years doing paralegal work. I am a certified paralegal. I have another business too, I do Spa Escape parties at people's homes demonstrating and selling BeautiControl.

It's great fun. More fun than paralegal work! But with any direct sales program, be careful and read the contract. There's always a contract of some sort. Low start-up doesn't necessarily mean it's a good money-maker.

For years I did Pampered Chef. I cost about $100 to get into it. I did parties in the evening on my schedule. It was great and fun. I do not do it anymore. 5 kids take up alot of time. Plus I am a Birth Doula now and work part time for a Birth Center. And we own our own Landscaping/Lawn Business. My life is so busy. But I loved Pampered Chef. My friends got a big kick out of it, because I did not cook before I started selling it.

Have you heard of a company called Arbonne? A friend of mine introduced me to Arbonne a few days before I gave birth to my third child.
