K., I was using Dr. Michelle Sang, but had a bad experience with her assistant. I was concerned about my cycle before trying to get pregnant, and was told to get a blood test to check progesterone levels. The assistant did not listen to me saying that I had really long cycles, and made me get the blood test earlier than I should have. As a result, the tests showed a really low level of progesterone, and she (again, the assistant) told me my only option was to go on Clomid. Luckily, I didn't listen to her, and got an appointment with a fertility specialist (Dr. Hesla of Oregon Reproductive Medicine), who told me that I was correct in the fact that the test was done way too early. He ordered another test, and things came out fine, and now I'm pregnant with a baby boy & due in Oct. (Had I gone on Clomid, unnecessarily, I had a huge probability of being pregnant with twins!) He said Dr. Sang is a very good, competent doctor, but I was VERY concerned about not being listented to with regards to other things in the future, so I decided to switch to the midwives at OHSU. So far they have been extremely supportive and attentive and generous in their time. In the few appointments with Dr. Sang, I always felt a bit rushed. It's farther away, but I'd recommend the midwives at OHSU if they're covered by your insurance plan. If we had different insurance, I probably would've switched to Dr. Carol Suzuki's practice at Good Sam (Dr. Jenna Murray, also listed in another poster's message below, is in the same practice), as I know her personally, but they weren't covered on my insurance. If all goes well in October, I imagine I'll just continue with the midwives. Good luck!
