My son Ian is now 15month old. He was born breech and started to walk when he was 11moth. He is walking kind of wide...his feet looks to me to be wider than his shoulders.I thought it will go away once he gets more practive walking but it is still there especially when he runs. Does not look right to me. Since he was born breech he had ultrasound on his hips done when he was few weeks old and everything was ok than.Any advice/experience would be helpful. Am I obssesing ? Thank you

What can I do next?

My 2 year old walked like that. Her birthmother was on drugs during the pregnancy and she was born very very stiff. She received "occupational therapy" to help her with gross motor skills from about 7 months old. She responded very well and was walking at 10 months old but continued to walk very wide and bowlegged until she was about 14 months old. Consult your pediatrician and see if they think occupational therapy could help. It's free in Pennsylvania.

Follow your motherly instincts and take him to the pediatrician. You can request that another ultrasound or xrays be done to double check on his progress and growth.

I don't think you are obsessing, you are being a good Mom!

Good luck.

my advice just keep eye on it and bring it up at next dr visit. my daughter is 22 months and she walks like that cause she is just learning to walk flat footed and not on her tippies. my opinion it probably just how he feels he has his balance best
