I know everyone else said it must be molars, but I think it may be a canine tooth. They are really painful when they come in and caused my second son a slight temp and diarrhea. A dose of Tylenol will usually stop the pain. Good luck!
My 12 month old came home from daycare on Friday with a 101 temp. We took him to the ped and they said he had a little cold and was teething.... What are some extreme teething signs? He has already gone through 6 other teeth, but this time he is refusing to eat (will take bites then spit out, even his favorite - bananas), unconsolable at times, but not much of a temperature anymore. Is this normal? Like I said this is his 7th tooth and these are new symtomes.

Sounds pretty normal. Depending on which teeth they are getting symptoms are different. My son's molars were horrible, didn't want to eat or anything. My daughter has molars and front teeth ans she is trying to get her fangs in on top and bottom and they are taking forever and she eats but doesn't want to sleep.
Just make sure he is drinking lots of fluids especially if the dirty diapers increase. Good luck with the teething!!
Sounds like it could be his Molars. My son is also doing the same thing right now, and his molars are breaking thru. Give him some motrin and wait it out. Hang in there it will get better
I agree that it sounds like molars, which tend to come in around a year. My son was miserable when his came in, though he didn't run a fever. His doctor said molars hurt worse, since they are so much larger. And, if I remember, his pain lasted a while, since it took some time for all 4 to come through.
