i agreed to my son staying in mexico with his father for 6 months just so he could spend time with the other family. this was over two yrs ago and he still wont give my son back. i have asked him and he always agrees with it but never gives him back. can someone please tell me what to do

you need to talk to an attorney. It seems odd that you have not pursued this before now. 2 years? Really? If the issue is money, seek legal aid.

2 years? Yikes! Do something about it now. My question is, who has court ordered custody? If you don't have a set custody by the court did the father have contact or care for him the first year of his life? Usually (in most states) if he didn't he lost his custody rights. If you have legal custody then it is simple, this is a kidnapping case. How old is your son? This may come into play as well. If he is old enough to talk for himself then the father may be telling him stuff you don't know about. You need to contact a family attorney immediately!
