Seeking Acupuncturist - Dallas,TX

After recommendations from other moms about my lower back pain, I've decided to give acupuncture a try instead of chiropractics because the thought of someone trying to crack my bones gives me shivers. Now, the insurance company will not cover acupuncture (not a big surprise), however, there are 4 acupuncture providers that participate in a discount program. I was wondering if you have tried and would recommend any of these female acupuncturists in the Richardson area. Thank you!

Jane Yeh, Dallas Acupuncture Clinic

I love and go to Dr. Louder at Spring Valley and Coit. He's a chiropracter and acupuncturist. I know you said you wanted a woman and no chiropracter, but you should give him a call. Since he's a chiropracter, my insurance covers the procedures. He straightens my back and then does acupuncture. It took about 3 or 4 visits to get my "Mommy back" back into alignment, and I feel so good. Now when I get out of whack, I go see him!! Cracking your back may sound aweful, but it only takes a second and feels so great afterwards. His website and information is http://www.caclinic.com/.

I am an acupuncturist/oriental medicine doctor in Dallas, near Richardson. My practice is off of The Tollway and Spring Valley. With another location in Denton. I do offer options for my patients who insurance will not cover. Feel free to contact me with any questions that you may have about treatment. I have been recommended by other mom's on mamasource that I have treated in the past. My name is L. Bradley and my office # is ###-###-####. I do not know, or have had any treatment with the doctors that you have asked about. But I would be happy to speak with you. Good Luck!

I am not familiar with the acupuncturists you listed, but had great success with Jan Hu. She did offer a discount to me since these visits were not covered by my insurance. Her number is ###-###-####, and she is located at 850 S. greenville, suite 103 (NW corner of Centennial & Greenville). Good luck to you!

I have a bad back (one herniated disc, one bulging) and 3 kids, so I've tried pretty much everything. I love Iva Peck at Integrated Center for Oriental Medicine for accupuncture (Parker and the Tollway). I also see a chiropractor (Melissa Shelton at Hedgecoxe and Preston) who is very gentle. I do well if I keep up my excercises for core strength and general flexibility, and see the chiro and/or accupuncturist when I have a flare up of pain.
Good luck.
