i had my twins at ENH - the high risk group (I was over 40). I delivered with MacGregor. Great team of doctors. I highly recommend them.
Hello all,
Yesterday we confirmed that we are pregnant with twins. As I am 38 and these will be my first, we are termed high risk. We are thinking we will need to deliver at either Northshore (ENH) Evanston location or Advocate Lutheran General in Park Ridge. I am looking for a OB-GYN as I have not picked one in the area. If you have a recommendation for us, it is greatly appreciated - as you might guess, we are a bit awestruck yet.
Thanks!

E.,
Congrats! I also saw a doctor at ENH (now, Northshore University Health System) - the high risk practice there. I saw Dr. Mara Dinsmoor and I LOVED her! I was only high risk for the first half of my pregnancy (was exposed to fifth disease), so I can't speak to the delivery-room stuff - but she was amazing. I was so comfortable asking her questions and she was so good at putting my mind at ease! I'm not sure of her direct office phone - try: ###-###-#### - the general number for North Shore.
I had to use that hospital briefly for a risk with my son and I saw Dr. McGregor (or something similar). He was wonderful. If I become pregnant again it will be considered a high risk pregnancy (I don't carry to term) and he is the doctor I hope to use. Good luck and congratulations!!!!
Congratulations!! I had twins in February and was high-risk as well. I went to Dr. Iannucci at Lutheran General. He is in a practice with 4 other doctors but him and Dr. Parilla are the best in my opinion. I know other moms on this site have gone to him as well. Good Luck and Congrats!
I HIGHLY recommend the perinatal clinic at Lutheran General. I LOVED the place, and Dr. Iannucci literally stood between my legs for ten hours when my daughter was getting born. My husband said it was all he could do to keep from hugging him, we had such a positive outcome. Check it out. I saw all the doctors there and they're all great.
