Seeking a Pediatrician Nearby Bellerose, Floral Park, or New Hyde Park Area

Hi, I use MD'S 4 Kids at 935 Northern blvd in Great Neck. They are awesome. It's a group od doctors. I use two of the Doctors. Dr. Gerber he is very communicative and will answer any questions never rushes you comforting. He also blows bubbles to distract the babies from getting shots. When he is unavailable we use Dr. Russ she is also a geat listener and gives you all the facts. Their number is ###-###-####. They even have Saturday hours if the baby is sick. With 6 exam rooms we never wait. My son is now 5 years old we've been going since he was 6 months old. I have referred at least 6 friends , they all love it there. Good Luck- A. B.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Maurice Chianese of Pro-Health Pediatrics. He is located right off of New Hyde Park Road. His number is 516-622-PEDS. He is gentle, friendly & warm & never rushes us out the door. I have found the other pediatricians in the practice to be he same. Good Luck!

Our son's pediatricians are Drs. Anthony Battista and Seymour Cooper in Mineola. The staff is wonderful...when we interviewed with them to check out the place, we crossed everyone else off the list. The nurses are great as well. After each exam, the doctor sees you in his office to talk, so you never feel rushed. They also make sure you have information sheets from their library on any vaccines, milestones, etc. related to that particular visit. My son is now 18 mos old and we have never had to wait...as soon as we walk in, they are ready to put us in a room. He has had about 3 last-minute sick visits and there was no problem or waiting time to get him an appt - even on a Saturday. They are available 24/7. Office hours are flexible, and if you call between 8-9 am during the week, you will actually speak to one of the doctors. They also have a great Nurse Practitioner who is a lactation consultant. hi S.. i have the perfect dr for you; Dr Valerie Mokides, on the corner of New Hyde Park Rd and Hillside Ave. she is pro breastfeeding, holistic focused, patient, kind, loving, inspired, and she really listens. sometimes you wait a long time in her office because she treats every parent and patient carefully and equally but it is worth it. we have been with her since day one with both my kids. her number is ###-###-####.
