Congratulations!! I'm a new mom and had a hard time choosing a pediatrician also. I don't know of one in the Greentree area but I take me son to see Dr. Anne Chen. She is on Route 60 in Robinson and she has been great!!! There is also another office on the same road, it is called Pediatrics West. I did an externship in that office and the doctor's there are wonderful also. I recommend Dr. Chen though the most. Anytime I have a question or a problem after hours Dr. Chen is the one that answers the calls. She has all her after hour calls routed to her. I really like that for emergencies..that way you don't have to leave a message for an answering service to page the doctor and wait for a call back. I do not know the number off hand to give to you, but you can easily look it up. Hope this helped and good luck!

I just had a girl in June...she just turned 3 months old on 9/1. Anyway, we go to Dr. Joseph Aracri (that is actually the spelling...ar-ack-ree) and he's on Greentree Rd. just past the Starbucks. Their office is actually called Pediatric Alliance-Greentree and he is one of three Doctors there--he's a DO, and there is another DO and an MD there too--the other Doctors are women. They are all really knowledgeable and kind, and the nursing staff has been great as well. I haven't had a problem getting in or getting advice over the phone. Here's the address:

Whatever you do, stay away from Pediatric Alliance. Let's just say their steralization practices are somewhat suspect. Also they are so overbooked, you never get to see the same doctor twice, and your visits are very short. We use a family practioner in Robinson, and I love her, so do the kids. Her name is Denise Wegrzynowicz (pronounce Veganovich). Her number is ###-###-####. She takes the time to really talk to you, and anytime any of us has needed an visit that day, they manage to slide us in. She is also availbe late on Thurs. and one Saturday a month. I highly reccomend her.
