I run an in home day care and I just use a regular note book. I list feedings, changes, naps and a space if the baby needs diaper, food, etc. HOpe it helps.
I was wondering if anyone knew of a product I could buy to give to the babysitter so she could keep a daily record of my son's day. I am going back to work and would like to be able to give her something she could just jot down feedings, diapers, BM's and sleep schedules for me since I will be missing out on so much.

You can make up your own list on Microsoft Word or Excel also.
I have never seen anything out there that covers all that, but I make and fill out for my daycare families something similar to what you want. Just create your own that way she should fill in all areas that are important to you.
Hi D.,
I liked what Rita suggested, and you could also ask your babysitter to jot down things in a journal. You can find journals at your local WalMart, or Target. The journal can be included with that work sheet that Rita presented for you. :-) That way it will be like a little diary 'keepsake' for you. Hope this helps as well. G.
Hi D., I am a daycare provider in Tempe and I make my own sheets for my parents. It covers what they ate\time, sleep, bm\w diapers, play\mood, and supplies needed. The sheets work great for me.
On a side note: I do offer back up care as well as some evenings\weekends in my home. If you are in my area and need such care feel free to call me at ###-###-####.
Have a great day--V.
I am not sure if you would be able to buy anything like that but what i was going to suggest is that if you have a computer you could use microsoft word or excel and make up a work sheet to what you would like to have on it and just make copies of it. I think that would work better so that you can make it specific to what you want to know and how you would like it recorded. If you need help with it let me know and i can try whipping something up for you with whatever you would like!!
You can print forms up at www.thedaycarelady.com
There are toddler reports or infant reports. It has all the things you are looking for on it and a place for extra comments. This is what I use at my daycare.
If you have Windowa XP you can find/make things like that under TASKS.
