Hi L.! For what it's worth--we go to Linderman Pediatrics in Matthews. They have recently moved into a new building close to Presbyterian Hospital in Matthews. There are four doctors in the practice. Dr. Linderman (male), Dr. Goins (male), Dr. Willard (female) and Dr. Hala (female). I have seen all four at different times and have been very pleased. This office came highly recommended to me before I was even pregnant with my first child. The doctor that was so highly recommended has actually left the practice because her husband's job sent them out of the country and they decided to move the whole family for the experience. I was so sorry to see her go--she was wonderful. Dr. Goins is our primary doctor and I have been very satisfied with him. He remembers so much about the kids even though we are at the point of only having to go in once a year for check-ups. The kids are comfortable with him also. He has called me at home when needed and was great when my daughter was born premature and we were there daily for the first few weeks. Dr. Linderman is usually who I see if we have to go in on an emergency basis. I was told that he can be kind of blunt and may not be a good fit for everyone, but I haven't had that problem. We have never had a problem getting an appointment and always have very minimal wait time when we are there for an appointment.
Some may recommend Matthew's Childrens Clinic which is also near the hospital in matthews. From friends who go there--they never see the same doctor, have a hard time getting an appointment, have to wait a long time. Maybe they have improved since then, but just wanted to let you know.
Welcome to town! Best of luck with your decision, I know it's got to be difficult moving and trying to find doctor's.
D.
