So I am pregnant with my second and I am almost 5 months pregnant. With my first I breast fed for almost a year. And for about the past two weeks I have been feeling the tingling "let down" sensation, it doesnt hurt just a uncomfortable feeling.
With my first I started producing milk at seven and a half months to the point that I had to wear the bra pads.
Has anyone else experienced this? Or do you know if this means that I am going to start producing milk in the next short amount of time?

I'm currently expecting #5 the beginning of July & have been having issues with this for a few months. I'm still not leaking to the point of needing pads, but they are starting to "work" so to speak. I nurse my last almost 3 yrs ago for about 10-11 mo.
Just make sure you have the pads around just incase you start needing them. Never hurts to have a few laying around anyways.

OMG!!!! I could have written this question!!! I too am pregnant with my second and I am almost 6 months along. Over this weekend I felt like my milk was coming in!!! My breasts felt somewhat engorged and I have colostrum. I didn't have this happen with my first till AFTER she was born! I went to my doctor yesterday and she said it was perfectly normal!! Not to worrry. That this happens sometimes and each pregnancy will be different. So, don't worry!

Each pregnancy my milk came in sooner. My first I didn't get my milk until nearly two weeks after the baby was born. My second my milk came in the day I left the hospital. My third I was leaking before he came and I was able to express milk in the hospital.
It does seem like it becomes easier and easier to get your milk in. I don't know the science behind it.
I honestly was leaking at month 3 of my pregnancy. I think everyone/every pregnancy is just different.
I did that too!! With my first I started leaking at 3 1/2 months prego and with my 2nd at 7 months prego. Needless to say; I have milk as soon as they were born!! Nothing is wrong; just means you are a good producer.
