Hi, I just moved to Piscataway from Santa Rosa, California. I am looking for a second-hand/gentle used children's clothing store or a group to which we can start a clothing cycle. I have 2 boys, 6yrs and 1, and a girl is who 3 1/2. I know about the chain/department stores but I am looking for something local. In New Hampshire it was Children's Orchard and in California, it was Wee Three. Thanks. C.

I have just found out about a great children's wear/toys/baby gear reasale shop in Greenbrook, NJ on Rt 22 (prob about 15 mins from New brunswick).
It's called Kid to Kid. Check out the website www.kidtokid.com
I went yesterday and found loads of kids clothes, great brands, in amazing condition (some with tags still on), for 3, 4, 5 dollars...amazing!!

as the other ladies have mentioned there is a thrift store chain called Unique. I've been in there and there is alot of things in there from clothing, home appliances, etc. also on rt. 22 in greenbrook there is a Salvation Army Store there. they have everything also from clothing, electronics, housewares, etc etc. i bought my furniture there recently and its just like brand new. i might've walked in at the right time for that but there is always something there that might catch your eye. good luck

There is one in South Plainfield, on Oak Tree Road. It is called Unique. I have never been in the store but I know it is a used clothing store. I believe you can buy other items also.

in north plainfield on somerset st there is one i forgo the name of it also in so plainfield where the D.M.V is there is a placw called unique there is also another unique store (2nd hand)on rt 22 in watchung in the B.J's shopping center
