Hi. I need a school saying. It is for elementary school. The theme is hawaiian. It is supposed to be used for all upcoming events (book fair, fundraising etc).

for example, last few years (soar above the rest and we used eagles, you are a rising star and we used stars planets etc. )

Having a hard time finding one that fits with the hawaiian theme.

Someone suggested "riding the wave to success". That is a perfect example and I may use that but would like a few other options to bring to the table.

thanks in advance

Well, what are you trying to represent?

A Luau - would be food and fun....
Going to a Hukilau - that's fishing - make it about the different fish in Hawaii...

Since there's GREAT surfing in Hawaii - Riding the Waves to Success??

Each island brings something different to the table...so focus on one island...like Oahu - There's Diamond Head - We're all diamonds here....or diamonds in the rough....Oahu has the "Blow Hole" - Blowing through the hole for success...

sorry - just not "there" in themes right now!!

Okay so it has to be Hawaiian?
You could just use a Hawaiian word giving the the meaning of the word.
For example:
-Akamai = smart, clever, intelligent
-Pōmaika'I = good fortune

I tried to find the Hawaiian for success but was unable to. If you could find that word, that might be good.
