I took my 10 month old to see the North Park Santa last weekend, and loved him! My son was so in awe of him that he didn't cry at all.
Where does everyone go to get their kids pictures done with Santa? We didn't do it last year & I so regret it!

I hvae gone to Valley View Mall. I will be honest - I picked them last year because Willow Bend's santa was on a break and I really needed them done. The Santa at Valley View was nice - but the best factor for me is we had no wait. We went back again this year (again on a weekday) and had no wait. As my little guy is not quite 15 months old he does not warm to strangers (especially one with a longish beard etc) - they took quite a bit of time working with him to get something workable. We are pleased with what they did - and once again - in and out in 20 minutes.
good luck
The Santa at North Park Mall is supposed to be exceptional.
Last year I took my then 5 month old daughter to Valley View mall and they had a really good santa. I have also heard that North Park's Santa is really good, not sure where you live or how far you are willing to travel. At the time I lived in the North Park area so it was no big deal to go. I am taking my daughter who is now 16 months old to Collin Creek Mall in Plano, I have heard good things about them. good luck
North Park has the best Santa. But we always hired a Santa to come to our house and took pictures. It is not very expensive ($45) and we would have a little party with neighbors. So they also got pictures. Santa would stay as long as we needed so that even the shy kids would get a great picture. The kids did not have to wait in line. It was wonderful.
Northpark and Stonebriar have the best! Both malls use the same one every year. We go to stonebriar and love him!!
We have always gone to Collin Creek Mall. I have about 8 years of pictures and the santa looks the same each year. He's got the traditional outfit (hat, coat, boots, etc) which I like. We went Monday night and walked right in. That's the main reason we go, no line. The kids got a coupon for See's Candy, an activity book and extra time with Santa. There's a train there that we traditionally ride, too.
When my daughter was little I took her to Northpark Mall. He is a fantastic Santa. I have her Santa pics displayed at Christmas on my mantle (all same santa). This guy is great. He is an instructor I think at UT for Psychology. He comes to Northpark every year.
When we went, we would have a wait of 3 hrs or so to see him. You take a number and then come cahek on your number periodically. He had story time before he would start the santa sessions.
My daughter loved it because he "came down the chimney" and read stories to the kids first.
Have fun,
Susan
Hi,
My Church does a Breakfast with Santa event that is open to the public. It is on December 15 and is a lot of fun - it is not a big crowd or line to stand in and there are lots of fun activities for the kids too. We look forward to it every year. The man that plays Santa is wonderful - I love him! He has been doing it so long that I sat in his lap as a child (and I'm 38!). Here is the info:
