Santa Calling Your Kids?

Have you ever had someone call your kids pretending to be Santa? Have him say something like "Ho Ho Ho little boy. I hope you go to bed early tonight so I can come deliver presents!"

When my son was younger, we did let him call Optimus Prime when we were potty training.

The real reason I wanted to post this question is so that I could tell you Mama's about this thing I found:
http://www.sendacallfromsanta.com/
I haven't done all the steps on the website above, but the website I found the link from said: Send a free personalized Santa Call thanks to Google. It’s fun to personalize the message and it gets sent instantly (so be sure the recipient is ready to answer the phone). My son was so excited that Santa called him – he knows where we live, knows what he wants for Christmas, and even knows his favorite food!

But for my obligatory question: Have you children ever called or been called by "someone" ?? When did they realize that it was not real? If you do the 'call from santa' thing above, how did it go? Did it sound real? Did your kiddo like it?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

@DVMMMOM - my friend did that the other day for her 4 yr old son. "Santa? Okay, yes, you see what he's doing right? Okay, I'll tell him." She hangs up, tells son that Santa is watching his behavior ........ Her son stopped his tantrum/whining for a while.

They only time we've called Santa was when DD was having the temper tantrum to end all temper tantrums while driving in the car and was screaming at the top of her lungs and would not stop. I pretended to "call Santa" because that was the only thing that finally got her to quit. She got real quiet after that!

I go to imaginerygreetings.com and I pay 3.99 and Santa will call her on Christmas Eve. I have done that for the past 2 yrs. In the beginning she didn't know the difference but it was fun. Now that she will be 4 next month she is into santa big time, so this yr will be fun. You can also try this.... go to portablenorthpole.tv, you can make a video from santa that is really cool and it's all free. You can add pictures and special events in your childs life. My daughter has a 3 month old brother and I added that and she was so excited that santa know's she has a little brother. Also during the set up you can do a birthday video from santa. I showed it to her the other day and she must have watched it 12 times. I have everyone at my job that has small children or grandchildren doing it. They all loved it.

The base where I live does this every year. You fill out a form for each kid and then select one of two nights that Santa can call. He called all 3 of my kids last Tuesday :).

That sounds cool. I had just introduced the "Santa" thing to my daughter last year. I should do that....
