Lol...when I read the subject, I thought that this was about dancing, maybe a sexual attraction to a dance partner. Too funny.
Hi, I bought a tub of salsa from refrigerated section and used it once (clean spoon), and not for a few days, and I tried to eat it again today, and it tasted "tingly" - can't describe it, maybe stinging, feels like it got carbonated or something. It has been refrigerated the whole time, and it still has 10 days until it's expiration date. Has it gone bad?

It's gone bad - throw it out. That tingling you're tasting is from fermentation.
It sounds like it's going bad. Does it bubble up when you stir it? That's a sure sign. Those fresh salsas get bad faster since there are no preservatives.
Return it to the store and get a refund.
Was it fresh salsa?
Here at almost every grocery store they sell their own
It sounds like it went bad.
I would take it back and in the future make sure you check the expiration date..
If it was fresh, you need to eat it in about 2 days.. They do not use preservatives in fresh salsa.
Sorry.. Do you want a recipe? That way you can make your own..
Yikes! Don't eat it! Chunk it girl!!
Yup, that's not good. I know exactly what you're tlaking about. I do think it's frementing. TAKE IT BACK...who knows, you could be starting a recall if it's not expired.
I remember once I got salsa from a restaurant. Had it in my fridge for a few days and tried using it again and had that "tingly" taste your describing, so I tossed it. I think that taste means it has gone bad but I don't know for sure.
Yes, it's gone bad.
It's started to ferment.
Could be it got left out of refrigeration at the store for a time and it's shelf life was shortened.
You could try to return it, but I'd just throw it out.
its bad. I have had "carbonated" salsa, and it's yucky!! Throw it out, or better yet return it to the store and get a new one, you paid for it!!
