So What Happened?

No it's not bait!! Found answer on Pinterest. These are really called Parking Pals--stickers to place on your car for a safe spot for your child/grandchild to stand while you're getting car opened and ready to get in. Had one smart-a assume I didn't teach responsibility to my grandchild. Yes, I do. Just retired as an educator with three degrees and a gifted endorsement. Research shows that visual aids always help. No, I wasn't raised using them. Why should that be a deterrent to using modern technology? Chill out. I won't be asking anything else here. Sad. I could probably help some with my vast education and experience. I guess you'll just have to take care of them and their question.

It's a colorful hand-print magnet that you stick on your car to help teach kids to stand in a safe place, near the car, when in a parking lot. I have them on our cars and love them.

What are you talking about? Can you be more specific?

Hopefully this is not some bait to get someone to bite on an MLM or personal soliciting website.

ETA: Sorry for my first impression there, we get a lot of bait here. It sounds like a great idea and I am glad you found out where to get them!

I just read your questions & the answers. Some people can be rude on this site. Please don't judge all of us because of these few. I didn't know what safe spots were, but they sound cool. The few that said " have them put hands on the car" don't know how HOT that car is !!! It was 94 here yesterday. Can you say OUCH !! It sounds like you are a fun Nana. Keep it up.

How about teaching them to listen and obey. We have been doing it for years without these things. How about you teach them just to put hand on car. Not to be snarky, but back in the 70s and before, parents had the upper hand. Rules were followed. It seems with technology, people, have lost the ability to think on their own. Sorry but it is just the way I see it.

When the kids got out of the car they had to assume the position with both hands on it. They made it a game where they'd be arrested if the let go before they held hands. It's fun!
