Hi moms! My husband bought a 50 inch flat screen and we wanted to know your recommendation for a safe table mount, we do not feel comfortable with wall mount, we prefer table mount, if you have any recommendations, it is very much appreciated, thanks so much!
Ours came with a table stand as well. I thought that they all came with that? Anyways, ours is super light and sits on a small table/stand just fine. We have two little ones that run all over the place and it hasn't come close to moving or wobbling a bit. The stand should be just fine.
I bought an actual piece of furniture for mine, mom. I also bought a sound board for it (is that what you call it) that sits on the furniture and the TV sits on top of it. We have a rather large family room and we needed the sound board so that we could have a better sound quality AND so we could hear it better.
I don't like a TV on the wall either. I especially don't like to have to crane my neck to look up too high (like when people have the TV over the fireplace.)
My furniture also holds DVD's and the DVD player.
I would for sure tether it to the wall, it should come with some sort of non tip tether.
ours came with a small square stand it sits on. We got a piece of furniture that holds a DVD player inside a small shelf underneath. The TV sits nicely on top of the furniture. Nothing fancy...these TV's are pretty light weight, they can sit on top of almost anything. does your TV have something like a small square or rectangular stand?
We got one with our TV. I'd check with the store you bought it from, or the manufacturer just to make sure you get one that will hold the weight of it, not to mention the size of it, you don't want it to topple over.
