HI D.... I think this website covers a large area and maybe there is no one that lives near you. I remember your e-mail because we moved to North Coventry (near pottstown) in February and we are still adjusting so I can relate to your situation. You can e-mail me directly if you would like. I am sorry no one has responded. I have been busy remodeling my house or I would responded. I have a 10 year old son who is very shy when it comes to meeting new people. So my suggestion is that since Halloween is coming up maybe schedule a time with the other parents in your neighborhood to have your son go trick or treating with the other kids. If you want something sooner why not go with your son to the neighbors house that has a child about the same age and ask if you can all go to a park or do some thing. I hope that helps a little. Where do you live maybe you are close by that are kids can get together.

I'm sorry that you're sad that no one responded to your first request. Don't take it personally. I have two young children and haven't come across a situation such as yours (yet). Since there are no kids your sons age in the neighborhood, maybe you could try to get in touch with some of his school friends parents, and arrange a get together or Halloween party at your house. After that, hopefully your son will begin to build better relationships with school friends, and maybe more play dates. Good luck!
