The specialists at the U of M (Oral Surgery or Endodontics I believe) were fantastic when I had 3 root canals done. They have all the latest equipment and techniques so it was completely pain free.
I need to have a root canal redone and was wondering if anybody could recommend a good endodontist or a general dentist who does root canals. I live in St. Paul. Thanks! L.

I have been very happy with Metropolitan Endodontics; they have a variety of offices in the Twin Cities. I see Dr. Doyle in the Inver Grove Heights office, but their doctors go to their various locations. I had an emergency procedure and a two-part root canal done last winter. Now I need another very complicated root canal and I have been very happy with their treatment. Based on stories I've heard I would go with a specialist to have a root canal done, especially if it's a redo, not a general dentist. Good luck.
Hi L.,
My husband just had a root canal redone by a Dentist in Uptown. He really liked her. My daughter and I have seen her too. She is really gentle and nice too.

It may be a little far for you but it is totally worth it.
Good luck!

P.S. She is really easy to get into see.
I had to have a root canal re-done last spring. I had a wonderful endodontist... Gerald Brost at the St Paul Health Partners Clinic.
