Okay ladies, I have some questions about these romance parties. I am toying with the idea of having one. I was wondering if any of you have any input? My questions are:
Are they fun?
Can the consultant tame them down a little for a Christian married women crowd?
Does anyone know someone in the East Valley that they recommend?
Is one group better than another?

I went to one in the West Valley and the consultant was from Chandler. She seemed pretty nice. I have her name at home if you want me to get it. It was a lot of fun. She was great and she is a religious woman herself. Anyway, I would definitely recommend it, just don't invite people that are shy, they might feel uncomfortable. I only knew one person there and I still had a great time.

I have hosted a "Slumber Party" and been to 3 all together. I think that they are a blast. The one that I hosted had a huge range of personality types. Everything from single girls to conservative Mormon moms. You may be surprised at how people react at such parties. Generally if they are willing to come, they're not as uncomfortable with sex toys etc. as they may seem or they're not as shy about it as you think. I found that the girl that did mine was very classy and presented the items in a very non intimidating manner. Sadly, she is not longer working for Slumber Parties and the last rep I used behaved horribly (it’s kind of a special circumstance, her last name was Kuerzi just for your reference). So, if anyone has a good recommendation for someone I would use them. I am going to be hosting another type of party in February for a bachelorette party and I’m thinking of trying a Pure Romance rep. They all pretty much carry the same products.
Hi M., They are very fun and anyone that goes should know what to expect! When I first moved to AZ I sold Pure Romance and had a lot of fun. Wow, I hadn't heard of the other companies that have been posted here, I thought there was only passion parties! Shows you how much I know! I went to one at a girlfriends house and had a lot of fun, I laughed so much! I thought the lady did a really good job, and she was entertaining. My husband wanted to do a coed party, but there were complaints by some of the women invited so we ended up just having women at mine. I think any excuse to get together with your girls and have some "girl time" is a good one! I'd also like to add, that my shyest friend was the best sport, and she even had fun. Sometimes it brings you out of your shell, plus after everyone's gone you have something new to enjoy with your hubby! Good luck! And I'd be interested to know what company you chose and how it went! I'd love to have another party!

I've been to a Passion Party and a Pure Romance Party - they are both almost the exact same thing.
One difference was the Passion party was in a circle group of us gals and everything was shown, then we went into the other room one at a time to order. The Pure Romance party was more like an open house design, with everything out on a couple of large tables and the representative kinda worked one on one with each of us, and again ordering was private. Both were fun, and both were very tasteful!
there are many companies in the industry, but if you are looking for something classy, I recommend Pure Romance. it is the leader in the industry, having been in business for 15 years. also, the owner is a woman who gives back through her own non-profit. Pure Romance has a program geared toward women overcoming cancer issues and also does a college tour called "The Naked Truth." a Pure Romance party is hysterically fun, but also educational since all the consultants undergo extensive training. many of the local consultants are Christian and I know one that is LDS.
