I am organizing a robot-themed party in early Feb to celebrate the birthdays of 7 yr old and a 3 yr old boys. Any ideas on games, party favors, food would be appreciated. Thanks!

* Also, if you know of a fairly-priced juggler, I'd like to get one for the party.

(I already bought the invitations and thank you cards, have a pop-up space ship, and some space lego toys)

Just another suggestion ... people are always giving away boxes from moving on Craigslist... those would make great robots if stacked and painted silver and decorated :D

My kids (ages 5 & 7) had a lot of fun building their own robots out of scraps. The hosts had boxes and other materials, such as cereal boxes, oatmeal containers, egg cartons, aluminum foil, and so much more to build robots with. Okay...it's a lot of work for an adult supervisor, but the kids had a blast!

sounds fun...pin the wrench on the robot, of course you'd have to make it. what about building a cardboard robot & spraypainting it silver to greet guests at door as they walk in. silver metallic (or pearlized) latex ballons. guess how many nuts & bolts in a jar...whoever comes closest wins.

There is a great website called THESPACESTORE.COM which sells cool space related party supplies, and unique gifts.
Good luck.

Astro-Boy is a big movie now, you could go with some of that theme. Also, have the kids work together to build a robot. Either with legos, or old school, with empty (square) boxes and Quaker oats boxes, and scrap wiring/junk electronics, etc. I did this with my kids a way back, and they loved it. The robot does not have to "work", just look cool... it is a creative project. On ours, I added some cheap/easy LEDs that light up, and the kids thought it was awesome.

have fun!
