I usually look online for recipes if I want something different or don't know how to cook something. Let me know what it is you want to cook in it, or at least some Ideas and I can send you to some websites if you are able to access the internet. Also, since you are a stay at home mom, would you like to maybe work from home at all and earn a little extra money on the side since the holidays are coming up? If you are interested at all in any information please let me know.

Thanks,
L.

i have a large exteneded family and i have several adopted kids that always return home for the holidays. so this is one of their favorites. Coca Cola beef. put a 10 lb roast ( the cheapest you can buy) in the bottom. add two peeled and quartered onions, tow unpeeled haeds of garlic, i bunch cilantro, stems and all, 4 jalapeno peppers, whole, salt and pepper and 1 2 liter bottle of coca cola and roast at 200 for 4 hrs, then pull the garlic out and leave the rest in and shredd beef with a fork. its yummy tender and you can use it with mashed potatoes and veggies as sides and then for leftovers for BBQ sandwiches, all you do is add a littl BBQ sauce to the meat and reheat. i also cook cowboy beans in my roaster, just follow the recipe on the back of a bag of pinto beans but add one cup BBQ sauce, an onion, some garlic and two jalapeno peppers nd 1 lb bacon uncooked and bring all that to a boil and then lower to 250 and cook until they are soft. i usually cook 3 or 4 turkeys for my large family ( no body else remembers how to cook on holidays). i use my roasters ( i have 5) so that the oven is free for rolls and pies and the house doenst get so hot. also use them to keep food warm such as rolls, potatoes etc. i grew up on a ranch and we always had to cook food for the cowboys during round up and that is where i aquired all my roasting pans. I also freeze the inner pans and use them to transport salads in . they stay cool or warm for a long time if your going somewhere where there isnt electricity. beef stew coks really nice in them as do whole chickens. my favorite is ribs. i rub the ribs down with my special rub. (youll have to contact me for the recipe because ihave to make you swear notto give it up), I put them on the rack and put 2 or 3 cans of beer in the bottom and slow cook them until they are fall off the bone tender, then slather them with BBQ sauce and throw them on the grill or just simmer them for a littl bit more in the roaster. if you dont use it to cook, it is a good place to store other pots and pans that you dontuse regularly.

I have a nonstick roasting pan that I love. I mainly use it for roasting vegetables. You can dice up some potatoes, sweet potatoes, or whatever. Toss them with some olive oil, salt, pepper, and whatever spices you like -- rosemary or garlic powder are things I use. Put it in a relatively hot oven -- say 425 -- for a half hour or so, stirring once or twice during cooking. The potatoes will be delicious and crispy. I also love doing asparagus this way, but it won't take quite as long, so keep an eye on it.

Hi K.,
Do you mean a roaster as in a rotisserie? I have one and love it especially during the summer. I use it for what ever I would normally roast in the oven. Mostly chicken. Marinade your whole bird in lemon, olive oil, and what ever spice you like over night, then stick him in there. I like it because all the fat drips off. I also use it for meatballs, as my rosisserie has a small cage that I can put meatballs in and they come out great for a finger food when we have guests.

K.,
Roasters are great for large busy families. I have six of my own and used it even to roast a turkey for Thanksgiving. You can use it in place of and oven any time you need oven space. One thing you must remember is to keep water in the bottom to help to keep things from burning. Just think of it as an oversized crock pot but better because the food keeps it favor better.

1. Spray the pan with cooking spray.
2. place pork cops in pan.
3. cover each pork chop with a slice of cheese.
4. smother with cream of mushroom soap
5. cook until done.(around 350)

I have made spag. in it. A roaster is easy and just let it cook. I have also done leg of lamb, pork tenderlion, and great to cook chili or sloppy joes for a large crowd.

Any questions just e-mail my adults have flown the coop so my cooking is not as extensive as it has been but I can still cook for a crowd.
