Rice Krispie Treats Using Big Krispies???

YES! (and they were SO good!) I think the giant krispie cereal is a little bit sweeter, plus it is whole grain so it tasted a little bit different...but I think we liked them better! And everyone else that tried them liked them too. (I actually don't like the giant krispie cereal as cereal, but would definitely buy it again to make the rice krispie treats). I used a whole bag of marshmallows, with the same amount of butter & krispies. Good luck!

I thought they had a different taste to them and I don't know if they will hold up to the marshmallow cream. I think they will melt and just be a big glob but I haven't tried it, so let us know if it works!

Do they make plain ones? The big ones we bought were awful! They have some type of sweetener no one in my family found appealing.

i have made them with the big krispies and they taste different. I would use the orginal krispies.
