You would almost certainly have to switch to days. Otherwise you have to have your baby in daycare overnight and while you sleep during the day. Then you might as well stay home. THe cost would be astronomical.
Even if you just needed care overnight, most childcare places charge a premium for htis service.
Unless you have someone to watch baby overnight....then one of you has got to switch to days! Does either of your job allow you to work days? Maybe you can spend these next couple of weeks applying at different places and see what comes up. Good luck!
I totally understand where you are coming from. Childcare and work situations are so hard. I have experienced that and I was always looking for something else. I was a pharmaceutical rep for many years with a very prestigious, well known pharmaceutical company. I, too, decided to stay home with my kids and have gone back and forth with working part time and staying home. It is such a mixture of emotions. When I'm working part-time I want to be home when I'm home I want to work!! LOL Anyhow, I'm finally happy and I'm making great money with my new at-home job. Have you ever heard of MonaVie? It's a great company and a I never thought I could make this kind of money from home! I was introduced to the company from my pharmaceutical colleagues. It IS a once in a lifetime opportunity. www.thegreatproduct.com/brazilacai
I suppose it depends on your financial situation. If you want to stay home with your baby you need to look at all these moms who work from home. Im sure they can all give you advice on that. I do one that pays me twice as much as what my job as a realtor was paying. if you want more info i would love to email you some. ____@____.com I have six children and its hard to leave them I know. good luck L.
