Does anybody know how much they actually give you for selling used clothes at those resell shops? I think they are called consignment shops.

What can I do next?

Hi M.
If you haven't already sold your stuff try Craig's list.
www.craigslist.com. Get on the local SA part of the site and post your items. I have sold several things there and it is free. Also you can advertise for garage sales if you are going to go that route. Good luck!

I would suggest you have a yard sale they are so fun. We had five last summer and fall. We made at least 400 or 500 at each one. Most of the stuff was clothes and baby stuff.
I have heard they don't give you much esp. if the clothes aren't brand names- gap, guess, tommy.
Hope this helps,
L.

Kids Junction,in the Castle Hills area of San Antonio....is wonderful the items there are new looking and clean. They will also buy your items provided the clothing is in good condition along with other things like play pins, cribs ect.....i think its about half what you payed for it more or less depending on the condtion and it is payed in store credits

Also buying "mixed lots" off ebay is a good deal too so long as you figure in the shipping cost too.

They only take the stuff that has no stains on them. Even the littlest spot they won't take. I just found it easier to have a yard sale. I ended up making more money too. The consignment shops are sometimes just too much trouble.

It really depends on the brand of clothing that you are selling and in what condition they're in. They can be pretty picky about the clothes they're buying and from experience, they don't give you much. You'd probably make more money selling your items on ebay but it's definitely more of a hassle. In the past, I've sold my daughter's clothing at Kid to Kid. If you choose store credit they give you 20% more. Hope this has helped.

Hi, there is a good place off of 1604 and Nacogdoches, right across from rolling oaks mall. (next to walmart) They gave me $60 for a big bag of clothes. She said she only wanted half of it and that I could eather come pick up the rest or she could donate it to the crisis pregnancy center. I chose to donate it. She gave me a donation reciept and said to just fill in the ammount I thought the donation was worth so I could write it off on my taxes. They are really nice there, and the stuff they have tends to be good quality. I know a lot of people who sell used baby clothes on e bay and get quite a bit of money too. Espically if the clothes are name brand and in good condition. Hope I helped.
