Does anyone know of some decent resale shops that sell maternity clothes? Even though this is my second, there are still a few things that I need, and I really don't want to spend the money on brand-new if I don't need to.
Try Target. I got some great buys there with my last pregnancy. I also found a few things at Once upon a Child.
I got a lot of my maternity clothing fom Once Upon A Child. They have several locations and are in the phone book.I couldnt make sense of spending a lot of money on clothes that I was going to wear for such a short time. A lot of the clothes still have tags on or were only worn briefly since we do grow out of them so fast!They also often have sales like buy three get one free or deals like that. You have to take some time to pick through the racks but it was worth it to me! I would definately stop by.
I don't know what size you wear but I have 3 plus boxes of L and XL. My son was born in May.
I just wanted to add another suggestion. I bought a good amount of my maternity clothes on ebay. They were in great condition and for a really good price.
You are so right, it doesn't make sense to spend all that money on clothes that you only wear for such a short amount of time.

I had really good luck at a store in Batavia (close to the river on Wilson St., I think). They have maternity clothes in the basement and upstairs is all kid stuff.
