Hi,
I am sure this question must get asked all the time but I cannot find the answer anywhere! I am expecting my first child in July and will need to use day care 2 days a week starting in Nov (when they are about 4 months.) I have begun to call around to day care places to get information but based on phone and websites, they all seem caring and reputable, I would really love some feedback from moms that use these centers on what you like and what you dont like about your day care and if there are any I should avoid. I really appreciate any guidance.
Thanks so much!

Goddard School in Cedar Park has part time and full time but would be when child turns 1. Only full time for infant age. Good preschool.
Part time care for an infant is next to impossible to find. The church on New Hope road has a part time infant program, but it is only 1/2 day. I can't remember the name of it, but I visited and it seemed nice. Mothers Day Out (MDO) is probably the best bet for a part time scenerio but they are usually 2 days a week & mornings only. I found the nanny agencies to be expensive for the finders fee so I ended up asking a friend to sit with the baby at our home and paying her $10/hr. It's expensive, but my family needed my income so I did what I had to. Good luck!

K.,
Here is a website that I used several years ago and have continued to share with expecting mothers. I hope this helps.

I can tell you NOT to use Goddard School in Cedar Park. We had a horrible experience there and it is terribly overpriced. Even people I know who have had good experiences there think it is overpriced. Our pediatric dentist uses Primrose and absolutely loves it! Your child can grow into preschool there as well. I don't know the cost though. When we were looking, it was my experience that the church programs were much cheaper than Goddard. We were looking part time as well. We do a MDO @ Capital Gymnastics but they have to be 3 and potty trained so it'll be a while for that for you. Other mothers in my neighborhood also love Good Shepherd (Lutheran Church I think) on 1431 and New Hope Baptist church has a fantastic program as well. Good luck! It is a difficult decision to make and great you are looking now!
Stepping Stones is good. The first thing you will need to do though is find out who has part time programs. I can tell you a general price range for full time but I do not know for part time. The Church centers I have found to be more expensive than the commerial ones. I would call now and get on a waiting list since they will fill up fast especially for part time care.
