Well i know of a place that is in the midway area which isnt too far from Oak LAwn. Its on 63rd/Central...called Midway Jewlers. Very nice people and very honest. I've known these people for over 15 years...very friendly owner.
Hi-- one of the prongs on my wedding ring just loosened and a diamond fell out. Luckily I found the diamond on the kitchen floor. I need to repair the ring (and have other prongs checked) but want to take it to a jeweler who is recommended--who won't swap out diamonds or do some other dishonest thing with my ring. Beverly, Evergreen park or Oak Lawn area location would be best (or just west of the loop as second option). Thanks all! Also I am considering have my band attached to my ring--so I am looking for someone that can do this type of work too. Thanks!

Go see Charlie at Sam & Sons (Oak Lawn about 103rd. & Cicero Ave.West side of the street) he is a friend of a friend I always go to him. It is him & his brother. See Charlie tell him that Kris, Danielle's friend sent you.
Kris
Lori & Co. on Southwest Hwy, just south of 111th. Small shop, personable owner/workers. Good luck.
Martin & Martin in Oak Lawn is excellent. Not sure if they do repairs ( I would think they would). Give them a call.
We really like Sam & Sons on Cicero in Oak Lawn. I would trust them completely.
