Hello A., Pet urine is the worst to get rid of I'm sorry to say. I've tried everything as well. I had a diabetic cat, and we went through many solutions. All I can say is the ONLY PRODUCT that will come close to removing the smell, is something that has enzymes in it to eat away at the protein in the urine. Usually nothing in a local store will work, you need something that's industrial strength. Where are you from? Look online or write me back, my father works for a company that sells products to take care of this. I can email you his information. If the urine got through to the surface below the rug, i.e., rug pad, subflooring below that, you're in real trouble then :) I hope this helps. C.... ____@____.com
