My 11 yo daughter was referred by her pedi dentist to an orthodontist and I was wondering if anyone could refer me to who they use and tell me why they like or dislike the dentist and the office in general. TIA

Richard McFarland he is awsome very nice office and great people. When we started looking, he was the name I heard the most. One of my girl friends that works in a dentist office in Coppell referred me.
Dr. Lively is AWESOME!! If you want someone honest, fair, and trustworthy, I highly recommend him. His office is smallish, quiet and serene. No trick and pony show, just really friendly people. My daughter is almost 11 and now has her braces on. We went to 2 or 3 consultations at no charge while we waited for her to lose a few more teeth. She got her top braces on first for a few months and we just got her bottom ones on. This was great because it gave her a chance to get used to them. The staff is also wonderful, and we have never had to wait more than 5 minutes!! He's located on Highland Village Rd. behind The Village Grill. Go see him, you won't be sorry!!
Dr. Billie Means is quick to suggest a full mouth of hardware! My 6 year old went in to see her. Dr. Means wanted top and bottom expanders and a tongue crib for my 6 year old! Of course that would be followed by another round of hardware in a couple of years. My step-daughter had braces put on my Dr. Means. She has a beautiful new big place. Not once, as parents were we ever welcomed to sit back with her.

We went for a second opinion for our 6 year old. Dr. Sankey (across from Forestwood Middle School on Morriss Rd) is wonderful. Parents are welcomed to sit back with their children during office visits. He suggested we wait, possibly pull two baby teeth several months later and wait a year to see what happens. My daughter may still need the expanders, but she will be almost 8 when she is evaluated for them again. The whole office staff was extremely nice. I have first hand see the final results of several of my students that see Dr. Sankey. He does great work!
