I used greased lighting spray to get red ink out of clothes that had been washed and dryed. It took a couple of times of spraying and washing before I got the ink out but most of it did come out.
So, a red pen got into the laundry and is ALL OVER everything in the load. Is there any way to get this out or is everything ruined???

if you haven't dried it yet try rubbing alcohol on it. that's how i get most of the ink out of my daughter's clothes!
I used Shout to get red ink stains out of a pair of jeans. The stain was old, had been through the washer and dryer several times, but it still came out.
Since it seems to be a large area of clothing that is stained I recommend buying the refill bottle of Shout. Pour that into a bucket and put the clothes in it to soak. Just wash as normal after that.
Good Luck
As a last resort, i've heard of people soaking clothes in a solution of powdered dishwasher detergent...worth a try before throwing it out

rit dye makes a dye remover. I have never used it on colored clothes but had great results with shite shirts that I accidently threw in with a pair of new black pants
Hairspray also works. However, once clothes have been dried, the heat tends to "set the stain." It ususally won't come out after it's been dried.
