My daughter had the same thing, went straight to doc and he said it was the hormones in the breast milk and it normal ans will go away, it did.

My 6 month old daughter just went to the pedia on Friday and she has the same mild baby eczema that my first daughter did. The pedia looked her over and said she looked great, and the eczema is very mild. Then Saturday night when I was getting her ready for her bath I noticed one of her nipples was red and a wee bit larger than the other. I felt it and it wasn't painful to her or feel any different than the other nipple. I put some hydrocortisone cream on it and the next morning it was fine. By Sunday night it was all red again. I am going to call the pedia tomorrow but if it's happened to any other babies and it's just the excema then it would be nice to hear what helps that. I use the purest all natural soaps and lotions and fortunately it is relieving her red patches. It's a bit scary to see her nipple all red and swollen, I hope it's nothing serious.

Are you breastfeeding? If so, squeeze the enlarged nipple, and if milk comes out, then it is just your hormones passing to your daughter through your milk...absolutely normal! My 2nd SON got it! Hopefully that's all it is, and good luck w/your girls!
red nipples on babies and anyone under the age of puberty
is a sure sign of either have been introduced to female
hormones in the soap or shampoo or lotion that the child is using. read the labels of soap etc products that are being used on the child, find the most common herb used in these products then contact an herbalist to see if it could be simulating female hormones. that what it sounds like to me, but i just got up and i am still nursing my first cup of coffee, so speculation is beyond me at this point when in doubt just use regular old ivory soap, you cant get much purer soap than ivory.

The only thing that helps my now 11 yo DS is Renew lotion. We tried the hydrocortisone before I found this lotion and it didn't do much for him. He has had eczema since he was about 3, now he puts on the Renew when he gets out of the shower and it has helped him alot.
