my husband and his family have been going to Dr Rick Waldo for years--I already have my own doctor but they all love him
Hi ladies, Does anyone have a good doctor/internist at Dallas Diagnostic Association at Baylor Medical Center of Plano? I'm looking to switch doctors and would love a recommendation.
I'm looking for a doctor that's, honestly, pro-medication. My current doctor makes me jump through hoops to fill innocuous prescriptions like lipitor and such. I'm also looking for a doctor's office that has good availability for appts. My current doctor also takes forever to get into, like 2 weeks at the earliest.
Your help is appreciated!!

Hey, Dr. Namburi(Swati) is a very good doctor, patient and caring-- never seems rushed-- I have recommended her to several people of different sex, and age and they all seem to feel the same way that I do.
Her information is below-- Hope that helps--

I have been seeing Dr. Francis Hill for 10 years. I went to him after my insurance no longer accepted Dr. Donely, my favorite. I love her, she is absolutely the best of the bunch. Dr. Hill is okay, and you will not have any problems with the medicines. He will sit and listen, explains his views thorougly, but sometimes I think he's too quick to prescribe meds. Good luck, and would love to hear how it goes for you!
My husband uses Dr. Stack - yes he is hard to get into see but he's pretty good. I really like Dr. Kyle Molen - he will sit and talk with you about your issues and you don't feel rushed. And I have been successful with getting same day appointments with him.
I know I am way late to answer but if you haven't found someone, Dr Nambury (no idea of the spelling ) is great. My daughter has gone to her for years
Jennifer Zimmer is awesome. She may not be accepting new patients because she is so popular with other women, but if you can get in to see her you will think it is the best decision you have ever made. She is very approachable and accessible. I have never had a problem getting an RX filled over the phone and have always had urgent medical issues addressed within a few hours.

My doctor's there, and she deals specifically with women and their problems. Her name is Jennifer Zimmer. I've been seeing her for 3 1/2 years now and am very confident in her abilities.
I will second the vote for Dr. Jennifer Zimmer. In my experience she is patient, understanding, listens to you and searches for the best answer.
Good Luck!
my husband and I have seen Molen there for years.. actually since he first started, he is average. He will make you come in every year for a full physical when your RX runs out...My husband HATES this... I have liked all the women I have seen there... hope that helps...
I go to Dr. Joan Donley at DDA and love her. She always takes the time to talk & "really" listen to you . I just don't know if she is accepting new patients, but if you are already at DDA maybe she will. She is so worth checking on!
I have been going to Dr. Carlyle Stewart and love him. Below is the link to info on him.
I would recommend Peter S. Stack, MD, FACP. He is an internist, and I used him for a few years as my medical doctor. He was originally in my neighborhood at Medical City, and I followed him to Baylor Plano (and would still be going there except Baylor doesn't accept my new insurance). He prescribed Lipitor for me, and even referred me to be in a couple of clinical trials for cholesterol meds. Good Luck!!
I use Dr. Stack and Dr. Namburi (Dr. Stack is often booked). I have been very pleased, and have been there for about 15 years. My husband uses Dr. Waldo, and has been very pleased with him. We have always been able to get in the day of our calls, for illnesses.
I hope this proves helpful,
S.
