P.M.
I went to Dr. Clara Henry and I did not like her at all. Hope that helps you narrow it down some. :-)
My ins. co. just change and I need to pick a new provider in my network. Does anyone have any recommmendations on the following: Clara Henry, Isaac Perez, Lucy Li, Mark Ray, Jon Pruett or Carla Gustovich? I live in Hickory Creek just north of Lewisville.

I've been to Dr. Henry in the past, and I was very happy with her care.
The only reason I don't see her anymore is that my situation (psoriasis) progressed enough that she was unable to treat it anymore, and she was quick to refer me to the best psoriasis doctor in the area. I was impressed that she knew (and was willing to say) when my disease went beyond her specialty, and knew exactly who to send me to.
I have used Dr. Henry in Denton and really liked her!
I & two other family members go to Dr Carla Gustovich. I would recommend her, however her new office is a little hard to find. If you need directions, let me know.
I use Dr. Clara Henry my best friend recomended her to me. She is very thourough and I haven't felt like I am a number but a patient to her. Good luck in choosing a dermatologist.
I went to Mark Ray's office. Never saw him at all, just the PA's. Wanted a complete skin check. Felt the service there was cursory and not very thorough. Had to ask them to look again at a place on my arm before they would do anything.
I wanted proactive and I did not find it there.
I recommend Eric Weisberg, M.D. a board certified dermatologist located in a beautiful new office building in Frisco at the corner of Legacy and Eldorado. He takes most insurance plans (may not be in your provider book yet as his practice opened in December 2007). Friendly and personable staff, excellent doctor. ###-###-####.
Mark Ray is wonderful and has a great practice, but hard to get in to see. He is well worth the wait.
Hi L.,
I have heard Isaac Perez out of Flower Mound is really good. Hope this helps! Good Luck!

I use Isaac Perez(my husband, myself, and my 9-yr old daughter)... have all had procedures done by him....he is very thorough...no complaints! He is located at the intersection of 2499 & 1171 in Flower Mound....behind Baskin Robbins.
I like Dr. Lucy Li, she's very non-glamorous, to the point, tells you what you need to do and how to get there and answers questions.
Her offices Frisco and Coppell are equally un-glamorous, but clean and effecient.
Hello L.,
Clara Henry is my #1 recommendation. I have used her for several years, as have many of my co-workers. She is very professional and does not waste your time. Good luck.
I highly recommend Carla Gustovich and Lucy Li. They are in same office in west Frisco.
I wouldn't recommend Clara Henry. I went to her for several months for acne and never had clear skin the whole time she was treating me. I finally gave up and am trying MURAD skin products, they seem to be working ok. Also, my husband went to her for a plantar wart and had it frozen off 3 times and its still there. Finally, she has a personality of a brick wall. hope this helps.
I have gone to Clara Henry in Denton and she has the personality of a mop. That is irreleveant to me, though; what I care about is care. I have a history of enzema, perioral (sp?) dermatitis, basil cell carcenoma and a pre-cancerous mole. However, she is very old-school and not up to date with recent treatments done with lasers to remove moles, precancerous spots, etc--she told me this herself. She basically just cuts everything out. I don't know what you need a dermatologist for, but she is also not up-to-date on the latest "cosmetic" treatments. While I do not like to waste my time or anyone else's, I do feel very rushed while I am in her office. The first time I went to her I expected to discuss my history of skin cancer and felt like she really brushed everything over. I had to wait over 20 minutes past my appointment time to maybe got 10 minutes of her time.
I think finding the right dermatologist has a lot to do with what your problem is. If you want acne treatment maybe that would be a different doctor than if you have a history of skin cancer.
We like Mark Ray. My son sees him occassionally.
