I see Dr Badr out of Plano Presby.
I think he is great and he has a great personality.

Can anyone recommend a good gastrointestinologist in the North Dallas, Frisco or Plano area? Someone with a great bedside manner is a plus. The doctor that I've seen in the past was so dry and had no personality so I would like to find someone who is at least a semi pleasure to see especially since I only have to go once every few years.
Thanks!

I do not like Dr. Maddala but do like Dr. Putcha. Both in McKinney/Allen
My husband and I have both seen Marcus Goldschmeidt, MD at the Medical Ctr of Plano. His info:

Very warm and kind in his bedside manner, and well respected by his peers.
Good luck!
Dr Vallera at Irving Baylor is wonderful. A little bit of a drive but very worth it IMO.
I see Dr. Grace Vanesko at Plano Presby. She is part of the Texas Digestive Disease Consultants group. She and her staff are both responsive and caring. Recently they fought with my insurance company (and won!) regarding a particular medication I needed when insurance had denied coverage of it. Her office number is: ###-###-####.
This may be a little farther south than you want, but Dr. Andrew Gottesman is the kind of doctor you describe, great personality. He is on Greenville near Presbyterian Hospital. ###-###-####.
