I like to try recipes from www.savingdinner.com (she calls herself the Dinner Diva and she's a friend of Flylady, if you've heard of her). The lady is a nutritionist and does weekly menus for a very small fee, with the grocery list included so it takes all the thinking out of it. Some of the recipes are funky, but they are all healthy. I've liked them all, but my husband is a little pickier and even though he'll eat everything I make, sometimes he requests that I don't make some of the recipes again. She has samples of her weekly menus to try for free. That's enough to keep you busy for awhile! I don't sign up for her weekly menus because I have enough healthy recipes I already love and I would be overwhelmed by that many new recipes, but I love to buy her freezer meal recipe sets (they're cheap). For example, Five for the Freezer using Chicken. It's 5 healthy meals you prepare for the freezer for future use made with chicken. You can make one recipe and cook it the same day instead of making them all and freezing them. It takes all the thinking out of it since she has a grocery list, nutritional information, serving suggestions (which she includes on the grocery list with an asterik for you to buy if you decide to).
I also sign up for her weekly newsletters with healthy eating advice that include a tip and a recipe.
As far as pasta goes, I buy whole wheat pasta from Sprouts (Trader Joes has it too) so it's a complex carb, with more nutritional benefit.
I have a Vitamix blender (it's expensive, though) and I use that to help me make super healthy smoothies and soups.
