Actually, I've just melted down a huge Hersey bar in the microwave slowly, mixed in some nuts, spooned it out into mini cupcake papers, and let it set up for a few hours. Don't know how to make chocolate. :(

Have you tried the Food Network website? I'll bet there's a lot of ideas there!

Good Luck (and call me when they're done if you need a tester!, tehehe)

:)

I have a recipe from my mom that is similar to Lori A.'s below, but mine adds rice krispies. The amounts on my recipe are different than hers, so if you try it, add one cup at a time until the consistency enables you to scoop without too much dripping.

Love love love these! It's been a holiday tradition of our family's for as long as I can remember ... now passing it on to my children - fun and easy for them to help with, oh, and scrape the yummies out of the bowl when we're all done! =)

I make these a lot as they are so easy and a cheap substitute for buying chocolates or candy bars. I often cut the recipe in half if they're just for my family so as not to blow my diet too bad! I know some people simply use chocolate almond bark without the chocolate chips, but I don't think they taste as good!

24 oz. white almond bark
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
18 oz. salted peanuts

Melt almond bark and chips in the microwave until creamy stopping to stir often so as not to burn or use a double boiler. Stir in peanuts. Drop by spoonfuls (I use my cookie scoop or small ice cream scoop) on large baking pans lined with wax paper. Refrigerate or let set up in a cool room. Store in a container in the refrigerator. Makes 3 - 4 dozen.
