I think that sounds normal for her age.
My 13-mo seems to have REALLY messy diapers. She's on regular table food and organic whole milk, but her diapers are still almost as messy as when I was nursing her with baby food. When does their poop become more solid and, well, contained in the diaper? She doesn't have complete blow-outs, but they aren't solid, either. Is it even something to be concerned about? Her height and weight are around the 50% percentile, so I know she's getting enough food.
I think that sounds normal for her age.
Could she be lactose intolerant? My son's diapers have never been messy... although he was formula fed.... I don't know...
Maybe try soy milk or lactose free milk for a little while??

I would talk to your pedi about getting your daughter allergy tested. My son is 3 1/2 and had always had very loose stools. I asked my pedi about it and he didn't seem terribly concerned. I just assumed that it was okay. And then last August he started throwing up and having more loose stools. i kept thinking that he had a stomach bug because the vomiting woudl come and go. After 3 months of back and forth to the pedi, we finally had him allergy tested and we found out that he is allergic to milk and eggs. As soon as we cut out milk products and eggs, he hasn't been sick since. He also for the first time in his life has normal stools! I would highly recommend having her tested - it is a simple blood test. We switched to soy milk and soy based products for cheese, yogurt, etc. Lactaid only works if you are lactose intolerant, not allergic. Just some food for thought!
Are you saying the poo is watery? or does it just seem like a ball of mush? I've noticed now that my ds is pooing in the potty, that what I thought was poorly formed is actually just normal poos. It was getting all mushed up in the diaper but when he poos in the potty, it looks normal. Only when he is a bit constipated does the poo look like balls or marbles in the diaper. Chances are, unless it's watery and too frequent, she's just fine.
She may have "Toddler Diarrhea." My son has it, and there is basically nothing you can really do. I talked to my pedi about it and he said so long as he is growing normally, there isn't an issue and they grow out of it. We were told to cut out fruit juice entirely. This includes canned fruits or anything containing fruit juice. You are likely already doing this, but definitely keep sugar intake to an absolute minimum. Then pile in as much fiber and whole grains as possible. Keep up with the whole milk too as fat is very important. If you are allowing some water, you may want to cut it out completely for a few weeks. I know adding fiber and cutting water sounds counter-intuitive to treat diarrhea, but that is what they suggest for this particular issue. It won't sure her completely, but it does help. There are several resources on the internet that you can easily find with a quick search. Here's one: http://pedclerk.bsd.uchicago.edu/toddlerDiarrhea.html
Okay, since it was suggested.. i have to tell you whatever you do.. DO NOT give your baby soy milk.
Here's more info on the dangers of soy milk:
