It could be an allergic reaction, but I don't know how likely it would be from chicken. Some of the most common food allergies are from dairy, nuts, and berries. Since babies have sensitive skin, it could also be caused by cleansers or laundry detergent. Try using dye-free, perfume-free products.
Is it a bumpy rash or scaly? I've had good luck with the Aveeno baby moisturizer. My babies get rashes and eczema from dry skin.
Hi Bernadette
If your baby has had a cold or flu it is very common for them to get a rash as the virus is leaving thier body. I would not change anything for a few more days and see if it goes away. of course if it is getting worse you should take him to the doctor.
My 9mo.old had a rash last week and it was Roseola. Google it!
