I got a persistent rash while pregnant. It was itchy. My Dr told me to take Aveno oatmeal baths. It did not go away till I had my son and was annoying. good luck.
I have a very fine rash on my hands and arms. I think it is pregnancy related, but I cannot find information about this type of rash. I saw descriptions of other rashes that don't fit my particular situation. Has anyone else had this? The bumps are very small and close together. They really aren't discolored and cover the back of my hands and stretch up to my elbows. You can't see the rash unless you are looking for it. However, you can easily feel it.
I think it is Keratosis Pilaris. It seems to match what my symptoms are. I'm not too worried about it now that I know what it is.
Thanks!

I had something similar on my face in the early stage of my pregnancy. I stopped using soap and cream (just warm water), and I also started lightly exfoliating with a washcloth. That helped it go away. You might also look at your detergent -- switch to free/clear laundry stuff and softener. It could be something your body is now reacting to. Good luck!
Dear K. T.
If there are no physical symptoms and it does not bother you except visually, then do nothing. Allow it first to try and go away on its own. There are answers if this fails.

Keratosis Pilaris. Google it and you will find a plethora of info. Many pregnant women get it. I have had it my whole life, but when I am preggers the nurses also comment that I have "the pregnancy rash" AKA - keratosis pilaris. I laugh and tell them that unfortunately, I always have it. It just gets worse during pregnancy. I notice it lessens in the summer when I have exposed it to the sun.
I use a good exfoliating scrub and get as much sun to it as possible (20 min per day if possible).
Pregnancy does sooo many things to your body that a number of things can happen. Rashes are absolutely normal. Happened to me as well. Use more lotion than normal. Use anti-itch if it does get itchy, although if it spreads you should tell your doc so that he/she can give you something that works for you.
