Random Question: What Do You Do If Food Lands down Your Shirt, what About at Work

As I ever so graciously ate corn on the cob yesterday I pelleted (is that a word) myself right in the chest with a piece of corn. Now normally when I eat corn so graciously I shoot machine gun style at bystanders in the face and not myself (joking)=) Today at work they served corn on the cob and it got M. thinking…
What would you do in an office setting if food landed down your shirt?
Would the answer be different if someone saw?
Would it be different if at home?
Would you ever eat said food after removing it from ones chest?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

lol Jo My answers would be the same for home but for at work---I'd be walking around with food sticking out of my chest until I could bend down and "tie my shoe"

OMG! I am constantly dropping my lunch or dinner on/in my shirt! My kids are threatening to get M. a bib! I work with cosntruction workers, they also tease M. about dropping food on my clothes.
For M. it depends on how far down the food drops. Right on my chest, grap or brush it off. J. down the shirt but not in the bra, yea I'm getting that one too. All the way down the shirt into the bra, keeper for later trip to the bathroom.
LOL! Thanks for the laugh!
Blessings!

I say oops and dig it out. Everyone here already knows I am strange so I J. go for efficient. :)

At home I don't bother with the oops.

If it is something I really love.......but only at home. At work they know I am strange but they haven't figured out I am crazy. :p

Who the hell serves corn on the cob at work? Dumb plan. Sorry but besides the risk of pelleting you can get corn stuck in your teeth, nasty!
So for M., of course it's different if it's at home, I wouldn't care at home, and if food landed on my chest and nobody saw, sure I might eat it. My body is clean! LOL!
If someone saw, probably not.
Hysterical!
Next time, tell them to serve something a little less potentially disastrous!

I am totally cracking up over this!

Landed down my shirt. At work, if it's visible then get it, if not then it's gone. At home: J. go digging.

No, I wouldn't then eat it. LOL

I think if i were prone to pelting, I would decline those foods at work/public. Why did i get a mental picture of my mom dropping something on her ample boosum and popping it right back in her mouth, gross!

Lean way over your plate, excuse yourself to the restroom before you fish it out. die of embarrassment if caught, lol hope it was good.

Well, I wear t-shirts all the time, so not likely to happen at work hehe :)

I guess if it did happen in a public place, I'd probably J. go to the bathroom to clean up :)

Probably wouldn't eat it! Unless it was chocolate. Chocolate must not be wasted! LOL

I have dropped food down my shirt and it depends on who I'm sitting with whether or not I "dig" it out. If it's J. "us girls" then I will. If any of the guys are there, I'll J. wait until later. At home, anything goes.
I won't eat the food that is retrieved, no matter the location.

It all depends on who is around if it's J. my office I would say "I guess the girls were hungry" and probably try to get it out. If more were around I would wait till I went to the restroom if it didn't fall out on it's own. If I am at home I would J. get it out right then.

I call my huge chest, my shelf. Anything falls on it, I save it for later. Its was a running joke at my work, before becoming a mom. There was even an excel spread sheet near my cubicle to track how many days I didnt spill something on or in my cleavage. That is until they hired a couple guys finally. Then it had to be taken down for sexual harassment reasons. Sheesh. If it were M. and it was corn I'd pick it out right there and throw it. I dont think I would eat it. Home? anything is game.
