This is so very random but anyone have any non-conventional uses for a paper towel holder? This particular one is all stainless steel, just a base with a stick and a ball on top that you screw on and off... it was a pain to put the paper towels on at the rate we go through them with the stupid screw ball top so I bought a new one....but I want to think of something else to do with this thing because it was like 25 bucks! Any thoughts??

What can I do next?

Those are excellent for spools of ribbon. Also, holding hair pieces. You can tie on a ribbon to hold barrettes.

I guess you could use it like a spool for any ribbon you might have... not sure if that would require a notch for each specific role, but it might work for the ones that have cardboard in the middle.. or if you are like us, you might have a tool area in your garage where you keep the larger rolls of tape, like electrical and other sorts. you could use it for those.. and you wouldnt need to remove the ball on top, just toss them on like rings..

good luck

If you have boys, it will make an excellent toy gun. Like everything else in the house.
